Spice cake, cherry cake
Lime cake, coconut cake
Nothing's so sweet as a cream cake treat
And nothing has soul as a jelly roll

Fruit cake, caramel cake
Orange cake, angel food cake
I start to shake over carrot cake
But I have to sigh for the lemon pie

Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry cake
Apples. marshmallow, raspberry cake
Goodness sakes, how I love those cakes
They taste yum yum yummy

The Harvest Festival is taking place this Saturday, September 25 in Dunbar Village, a sure sign of autumn. Butter is putting a festive spin on things and at 1pm on Saturday we will be hosting a pie eating contest. Let's get a little messy and have some fun. The cherry on top? Free cake for anyone who stops by!

I wanted to start this Thursday off by showcasing our Peanut Butter Marshmallow Slice - one of my all-time favourite treats. I like mine for breakfast but that can just be our little secret.

Oh So Fancy

Here we are at the New York Fancy Food Show this past June. Butter took home the silver SOFI (Special Outstanding Food Innovation)  award for our raspberry marshmallows. The Fancy Food Shows held in New York and San Francisco showcase over 260,000 specialty food products - think cheeses, coffee, and sweets of course. Our SOFI is our very own Oscar, as near and dear to our hearts as those raspberry marshmallows.
